Error Loading Character - HoM RC - Guild Wars Forums

This question pertains to the Hall of Monuments Reward Calculator.

I have been looking up some of my friends names on the reward calculator, and im getting "Error Loading Character"

Is this because they have never visited the reward calculator?
What causes the error?

Afaik it's for a few reasons:

They don't have EotN and therefore don't have a HoM.
They haven't logged on since the HoM reward calculator came out.
You could also just be putting in the wrong name.

There may be more reasons I'm not aware of.

If they are friends who haven't been on in a while, it could be their account is blocked.

I have people in my friends list that I have known personally for years and others I met in the game and cannot remember who they are and how we met.
I was checking which type you were asking about.

I actually don't like the idea of being able to enter other players details into the hom.
Its my natural paranoia that says someone will learn something about me I don't wish them to.
